And I will admit it, I am a bit nervous. I know he is going to love it, but I am nervous I will forget something (i.e. my camera for first day photos!) or be a nervous wreck. Not to mention, having a 5-year old makes me feel a lot older than having a 5 month old! (I guess my birthday falling on the same day doesn't really help with that one!)
But I am so excited for my son. He has had an extra long summer vacation since we moved from a school district that got out in mid-May and started back up the first week of August. We are both ready for the routine and rhythm that school brings.
Let's just hope he likes the kindergarten playground. After all, that's pretty much all he cares about right now anyway!
