Thank Goodness for Folex - A Must Have Around the House

On Wednesday, I posted this lovely picture above on facebook of my daughter's Blue Raspberry Icee spill on our couch cushion. 

After the spray and rub magic of Folex, here's how the couch cushion looks today...

Seriously MAGIC! This is why I keep my house fully stocked with Folex at all times. It works this well on carpet, too!  I buy my Folex at Bed, Bath & Beyond (taking full advantage of their 20% off coupons), but I think you can get it at grocery stores, too.

Babies: The Honest Company Provides Exactly What They (and Their Parents) Need

Babies don't ask for much - just love, food, rest, and a clean diaper.  But it is funny how much work it takes to provide them with those four seemingly easy requests.

Somehow I have managed to get my kids to ages 7 and 4, and I have at least moved past the diaper phase.  But so many friends that either are pregnant or have babies ask me for advice all the time.  And it amazes me just how many things have changed and evolved in only a few years!

So how is a new parent supposed to know what products to buy and use for their babies and home?

My New Dishwashing Friend

Two months ago we were going to buy a new dishwasher.

Why?

Our dishes weren't getting clean. Our glasses looked gross and always had a filmy residue on them.

Since we still have a home warranty, I decided to have someone come out and take a look at our dishwasher. The technician told me we have a good dishwasher but we have very hard water in our area, and suggested we try a new detergent product.

Really? Could the detergent really matter that much? I already used Jet Dry and Cascade. What else is really going to work any better?

New Use for a Baby Bottle Brush

Of course baby bottle brushes are fantastic at cleaning all of those bottle accessories. But can you use them for anything else?

Absolutely! My husband discovered that baby bottle and nipple brushes are great at cleaning those hard to scrub dirt and grime areas in the kitchen sink area (i.e. around the faucet base and other areas that are sealed.)

So even after the bottles and nipples are long gone, you still have use for those bottle brushes!
