Shapewear Billionaire

Yesterday, Forbes Magazine released their annual Billionaire List and I was shocked, and pleasantly surprised, to hear that the founder of Spanx, every woman's best friend, was just added to the list.

Seriously, I knew Spanx was popular, but billion dollars popular???  That is crazy!

After hearing about this, I wanted to learn more.  At age 41,  Sara Blakely is the youngest self-made billionaire on Forbes list.  Amazing!   She started Spanx with just $5000 and filled orders out of her apartment.  She has never taken outside investments or spent a dime on advertising.  Blakely owns the 100% of the private company (valued at $1 billion!).

Talk about an inspiration!
