Yesterday I kept referring to my son starting kindergarten. My husband had to remind me several times that he is in 1st grade now. Oh, how time flies! I was definitely more nervous about today than he was. But he made it through his first day, albeit the 95-degree heat and humidity was torture for him. (Last year it rained on the first day of school, this year it was hotter than blazes - go figure!)
Let's just hope that tomorrow's full day schedule isn't a hard transition from today's "first day of school" half day schedule. I know it won't be a hard transition for me! :)
