Summer Reading = Free Books

I am so thrilled that two moms passed along the summer reading programs for Barnes & Noble and Borders bookstores today. Both programs are simple: you read books, you get a free book.

For the Borders Double-Dog Dare Challenge, kids 12 and under must read 10 books. Then click here for the online form, fill it out and bring it in to your nearest Borders for a free book.

For the Barnes & Noble summer reading program, kids have to read 8 books. Then download the online reading journal, fill it out and return it to the store for a free book from their reading list.

It seems like a fun challenge to keep the kids reading and continue expanding their own libraries! Let's hope my 6-year old is up for the challenge!
