Tissues...they help us through some of our most emotional times. And they help us when we are feeling under the weather. But what about when we run out of tissues? That pesky tissue box takes up a lot of room in the trash (and for those of you that are dilligent recyclers, it can be a pain taking it to the recycling bin).
Thanks to Real Simple, there is another alternative for your used tissue box...storing plastic grocery bags. Sure, you can buy the fancy plastic of metal containers places like Bed, Bath and Beyond sell, but why not make your own for free?
I mean, sometimes don't you just wish you had that Target bag handy for your child's wet clothes...but since you didn't have anywhere to put it, you just threw it away.
So when you finish off that next tissue box, don't throw it away...put it under your sink and have your own plastic bag dispenser!

Great tip! I'm totally gonna do this. I always end up throwing both my tissue boxes and my plastic bags away! Those plastic bags are great for stinky diapers, since we've gotten rid of the Diaper Genie.
Just as a follow-up. I have started using my old tissue box to hold plastic bags and it is awesome. If you want to get the kids involved, you can attach some paper to the tissue box and let them color it.
